I'd say your main things to upgrade are the RAM to at least 1Gb pref 2Gb and a graphics card.
On that front I'd say go for an 8-series from Nvidia such as an 8600GT. PSU, if you have around 350W you're fine. Anyless I'd say upgrade to 350-400W. Also you might want to look at getting an aftermarket heatsync for your processor and overclocking it to get better results.

Ahhh, I aint a PC expert so you will have to explain them in detail sorry...
I know this might sound heavy and make me look lazy, but can you please name the exact model of either ram/graphics card I should get. For example: Ram: 2Gb 65XT-SF (made up) Graphics Card: 8-series from Nvidia 8600GT PS: What is a aftermarket heatsync and overclocking? Sorry I sound like a noob but I really want t better PC using the easiest ways of getting it. Thanks.

Well find us your motherboard that your getting or if your keeping your old one then we can find some good ram for you.
See your mobo might only support 400mhz ram, and for like £40 you can get a mobo that supports 800mhz plus the newer Dual core CPU's As for overclocking... a cpu is set to a certain speed which say yours is 3.0 GHz, it is actually more capable of say 3.4GHz, but it will overheat, so you need a whopping cpu cooler so sit on the top of it. I see... I am planning on keeping my motherboard but adding ram to it. My board type is ASUSTeK Computer INC. Grouper 1.xx. Plus I agree I need to get a whopping cpu cooler because my PC's fan spins so fast I can hear it when I go to the toilet.

Can you take your case off and get a serial number, or a model nuber of the motherboard. I cant really get which board it is from that.
Also, the noise of your fan disent really mean its spinning super fast, my pc fan is louder than the 360, dosent mean its fast, just means its a noisy piece of **** Kev ![]()
