Nah mine is dual booting so i choose Linux or Windows. Booting from the Disk Cabe, no wonder why your not a fan of Linux, that is way slow lol. But im guessing you know that already.

yeah, I know its slow I just don't want to partition any of my HD's and loose space for something I wouldn't use that often anyway.

Good point, im gonna put like 75% Linux and 25% windows, simply because linux can view the windows partition so anything on there i can access.

Plus i will use Ubuntu more than vista

Kev
Well then wouldn't it make more sense to dedicate more of your HD to Vista so you can store more on Vista and just access it through Linux?

You could have 1 HDD for Vista and 1 for Ubuntu. Than you'd be covered for both of them, personally, if I were to upgrade my computer, I'd probably just get something like 500 GBs, maybe 2 of them, than 1/2 one of them and have Ubuntu and XP, than with the other one, just keep all my media and what not on there.

Bamhm that sounds a good idea, 1 smaller HDD for Vista and Ubuntu and a big one for the media. And split in 50/50 then use that acronis (whatever its called) because that can change partition sizes without loosing data, if need be.
