Here:

Specs
EDIT: Oh, this shouldn't matter but I've added 256 MB of ram. So my computer has 768 MB.

I'll list the patches soon (Maybe this afternoon)...

So my build PC is gonna be excellent rihgt? Because (no offence megaman) the specs of mine compared to that link will blow it out of its case.

Maybe im missing some component that makes it really good or something?

Well, the processor is intense, but my PC was designed to be a media center. It's good for me because I don't really play any games on it. The graphics card and ram is a bit low for that.

Thanks guys.

I also forgot to mention that I swapped out my second DVD reader for a normal CD reader (from a 10 year old computer lying around, so I don't know what exactly it is). Could this be the problem? I heard that Mac might kernel panic if it sees unrecognized hardware... I might just swap them back.

Yes, swap it back. before you install it, Google OSx86 and look for Insanely Mac. They have complete lists of supported hardware. If it's 10 years old and not Mac hardware, I doubt it's supported.

Hmm.. If the install disk started up with it, is it okay to use? That might not be the problem.

I'll swap it back anyway soon. I checked Insanely Mac and it seems like an awesome place. I'll keep looking.

By the way, I tried to hit F8 at startup and I couldn't get the messages to start scrolling... They didn't look to be important anyways. :|

It's been a while since I dual-booted, but when I had it, there was no F8-ing. Just select OS X and away you go. Explain?

Oh, it lets me add arguments.

I added -v for verbose so that the startup sequence would print out messages like linux. I guess grub is different.

Ah, I get it. Post your issue on InsanelyMac, they'll help you no problem.
