ordered it yesterday. gettin a white one. my friend has had one for months and has had no problems so i figure what the hell

better than no music, and has a bigger screen

My brother's broke because it like fell out of his pocket while he was riding his pocket rocket or something. Microsoft had us send it in, we didn't even need a receipt and he got a new one.

Just to let you guys know, one of the main reasons I'm sticking with my current iPod is the playcounts and ratings I've built up over the years since I got my iPod. I have a large number of songs that have over 200 plays and its nice to be able to arrange in order of playcount and let it play all through...

The other day the file that keeps the playcount data got corrupted and it wouldn't play... I ripped all my music off the iPod and tried to find a way of fixing it without loosing that file. Reformatting was the way to fix it but I wanted to avoid that. Even called up Apple and explained the situation. No luck.

Ended up I had to just format my iPod and put all my songs back on but since I'd lost all my playcount and rating data I decided not to start buiding it up again on my current iPod and to get a new MP3 player.

So I bought a Zune, a black one. Its being shipped Express Airmail from the states and should be here within 6-9 days. Can't wait

Sweet, good luck with that. I'd install the Zune software now, have it all ready for when your Zune gets here...

lol, I've already got it installed and have been using it since I decided to get one :lol: 8)

:lol: That works than, I'm not a BIG fan of the Zune software, but you have to use it for the Zune, so I use it when my brother's over here, I update his library, but he's almost never over here, so I don't have to worry :lol:

Sweet, when I eventually get a Zune, if the Halo 3 one's still out, I'm going to get that, but if it's not, I'm going to get a black one.
