Default Vista: Positive - Negative - huh?

so guys, i'm also thinkin about Vista, but i heard a lot of bad things.... like not every software can be installed, its no good for games.....

and the only good thing i heard was about the good lookin of VISTA

so what do u guys know about it? Or what have u guys heard about it?

i saw an advert in the net.... sayin like this: VISTA is A RAM eater.... Need more ram? buy.....

i think these bugs can be solved if u have a lot of ram

I doubt its good for games due to it eating so much RAM...does it eat up proceeding power too??? :cry:

You can play Xbox Live on it. It's a bit stupid though since playing on the Xbox is way more fun.

Speaking of this, only the 64bit version of Vista won't allow unsigned driver installation - 32 and you're fine.

The blacklisting programs is a myth. I was over at my dad's friend's house, he had all kinds of things that were supposedly blacklisted in Vista.

He's going to help me build a kicka** computer in around July or August. That computer's not going to even know what XP is, straight to Vista Enterprise, if that's possible... It should be

It's not a myth - it is instituted on the 64bit editions of Vista.

Oh, but not in the 32bit edition?

BTW, WTF is 64 and 32 bit editions? I'm lost there, all I know is I have Windows XP Pro, and there's 4 different versions of Vista...
