Voice Commands

does anyone know which software to use to enable voice commands to pc, such as shutdown, open internet... like in the movie Wild Hogs, when the guy usin a MAC (rofl) greets the MAC, but after get in trouble when the PC goes crazy and open porn.... very funny, u guys should see this movie - back in topic so does anyone know any application :wink:

There is a way you can do it.

Download a program called GlovePie (google it).

Find the program or function you want (like your browser, right click the shortcut or exe file and go Properties > Shortcut then in the shortcut key box do something like Ctrl+Shift+I

Open GlovePie and write a script that will look something like this

If said("Internet Browser") then 
     press(ctrl)
     press(shift)
     press(I)
     wait 20ms
     release(ctrl)
     release(shift)
     release(I)
     wait 100ms)
endif

Works like a charm 8)
I use GlovePie for voice commands in games like Unreal Tournament. All I have to say is "Rocket Launcher" or "Shock Rifle" and it changes to it by picking up what I said then pressing a certain key.

man im lost with this software.... er... how do i record my voice?

You don't record it. All you do is have your mic plugged in then when you say whatever you've told it (i.e. If you have 'Said ("Internet Browser")' you only need to say "Internet Browser" into your mic.

If it doesn't work you can adjust the sensitivity of the speech analysis by adding a number between 1 and 3

i.e. ("Internet Browser",1)

ok, after one hour, shoutin', screamin' itunes.... it finally came...

i got a question... do i need to open the file that i saved so that that application will open or not?

cos otherwise is better to click in the icon....lol

No problem, GlovePie is a great little program. Its what I use to let me interact with my PC with the Wiimote. Its possible to play Oblivion on the PC using controls like Twilight Princess.
