My laptop is dead - PSP-Forum.com

As kev already knows, my laptop died last night. That means that I will probably not post on here much. It started with Vista OS getting corrupt. Then after numerous failed attempts to reinstall Vista and XP, my HDD doesn't show in the BIOS at all. The OS disks don't recognize it either. My laptop has a warranty with my college, but I have no idea how I am supposed to get it there. Probably going to end up calling them tomorrow.

I dont believe he did, a driver file got corrupt d(something).sys and then it wouldnt let him boot into safe mode, reinstall or put XP on.

I believe that to be correct anyways.

Could be a dead HDD. Although ive had one mysteriously disappear and reppear again. try praying

no cos i can use my ass as a drive caddy. its really unique and handy for the the cops come over looking for illegal pron from the balkans that I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT officer!

Right now I hope that its just my HDD. My friend has a similar laptop to mine, and he said that my BIOS should show it even if it is dead.

is it a laptop where you can easily remove it??? swap it with your mates to see if it is that or something else.
