Microsoft says XP is definitely dead in June, Dell says it'll keep installing it - Engadget

Let us have a moment of silence for the end of production of Windows XP. It was the best OS that I have ever used, deserving of a longer life. Vista may look better, but it does not match the performance. Let us hope that with XP SP3, we will be able to use our favorite OS for years to come.

*Edit* This memorial is also worthy of my post number 700!

I thought Surely not. XP is very good. why would they want to bring out a new OS. But anyways. they did and that is being substituted soon aswell. I think that microsoft is falling and when i get my own pc or some more ram for this one i will probably Dual boot. Actually. Edit that last bit out. I need ALOT MORE MEMORY. I only have 20gb left of the 80gb one it came with

i really need a new one. So yeah Goodbye XP although it will not really be goodbye hehe.

P.S I know how u feel Berserk lol. The 700th post is qqquite good although i think 666 was better. I even took a screenshot of it but now i have lost it

Anyone wanna guess why? (Hint. I named it posts of the Devil) hehe.

Not a fan of Vista at all, have tried it out on my mates PC, prefer XP. Is a shame but I said the same about windows 98 which Is a much faster performing OS than XP though lacking some of the features that XP has. I have a dual boot, so I use 98 whenever I want to write my music.

Well, it is a shame, of sorts. It could be bad business sense from microsoft, they may find people look elsewhere. Oh wait a minute, there isnt another OS. They think they have us by the balls, and they probably right.

Hell, ive got 98 on an old hard drive on my XP 2000 PC that i use as a side table next to my bed.
