Anything is possible when it comes to software.... but the amount of people that can do the impossible is limited hense the reason that you will never be able to accomplish what you want.... just go ask your parent for his wep key etc.

aha... cheers for pointing that out.... well in that case he is up the pervervbial creek without a paddle... I am sure the manufacturer does a service to correct and reset these situations but I am guessing you send it back unless there is a hardware reset???

I'm too tired to read all the posts and see if someone told you already, but I know for most linksys routers, the password is admin and there's no
user name. And to open ports, I'm pretty sure you don't need to go there, just go to control panel, Security, and Allow a program through the firewall. That's what it is on Vista, but it shouldn't be too different on XP. |
