Default DVD copies

im trying to help my friend out with this..hes got an older compter that he has CloneDVD running on to copy er...family dvd's. family dvd's right. and he just made a copy of one movie and when he goes to make another a message pops up saying there isnt enough room under C:/Documents and setting/admin/locals~1/temp (or something along those lines) to store the data.

i went into his c drive to try and clean it up but there is absolutely no garbage i could find pretty much. its a 12 gig hard drive and it says there is only 6% remaining memory which doesnt make much sense. theres gotta be a movie file hidden somewhere but i can find it..or maybe its just a ton of **** hidden somewhere. the disk defragmentor wont work cus there isnt enough room to run it..any suggestions?

That type of software copies the DVD to hard drive then to the CD, You can set it to burn straight to CD, this may resolve the issue. 12gig hard drive? I think he needs a bigger hard drive tbh...

Anywho's, check where the program stores it temp files, and check that the movie before is there. Also check the space left, in gigs, and just try delete some stuff. But yeah, your not going to get for with a 12gig hard drive.

in agreeance with kev

I used to have an 80 gig that gave me issues

Windows Xp can reach 5 gigs with all its updates
add to this temp internet files, temp files, programs and games. not to mention all the other bull**** life throws at you. 12 gigs will understandably cause you to hobble along

Peace
