my desktop is fine, i like it to be neat. all those programs i actually DO use. and why is it not reliable?

and i dont know how to take the bin off lmao


oh, its basically just shortcuts in explorer (my computer, documents and such), xfire, steam, MSN, firefox, photoshop, thunderbird, and the such

If I remember correctly Windows does not allow you to take the recycle bin off from your desktop. The only thing you can do is hide it. Just right click your desktop and uncheck "show desktop icons" under the arrange by.

Or right click the bin and click delete. It comes up with a message saying that you can put it back by going to somewhere in controll panel. i did this as i just got a dock

Yeah, you can delete your recycle bin from your desktop, (im on Vista) and as psplayer said, you put it back in control panel.

i unhid it, as my desktop background and such got choppy? and i couldnt click on it either. weird..
