I must disagree that card looks sweet...man if its only $400 I will defenitly buy that...only $100 more than the 8800GT G92 I'm getting ready to buy! No release date as of now?

It is supposed to be this month, but I don't know the exact date. I remember hearing that its March 11th, but that seems unlikely, they don't even show up on newegg. Anyways, I'm staying by my point of it being an ugly card, looks like a brick. That is only the opinion of the looks though, I still love the card because of performance.

Yeah, its not worth it imo, the leap wasn't as big as it was for the 8 series...I'll just wait till the 10th series in the line of chips...

I don't know, its still the best card out there. I mean it beats the 8800ultra and its still at the same price point.

I read somewhere that it basically gives you the same performance as 2 $200 8800 cards, so you'd really be throwing away $200.

but anyone who has the ultra is a dumbass

all you need is a GT or 512GTS. except for crysis, but that game shouldnt count.

Thats what it is now, but you know how games go. Within a year we may see a couple that surpass Crysis, so more power can't hurt. I am afraid about reading yesterday that 2 8800GTs in SLi give better performance for cheaper...
