just go in and ask about them and someone will direct u 2 them. its simple putting them in but it will go alot quicker if u call the graphics card tec # when installin it if your not real good with installing computer parts or this is your first time. dont be shy about calling the # either, thats what they are there for.Last edited by Pixy; 01-29-2008 at 11:56 PM. |

yes, laptops have video cards too.
are you sure it's the video card? if you are, you can do what pixy told you, or you can order off newegg.com, as they are pretty cheap. MAKE SURE you get a laptop video card though.

Actually, no, most laptops do not have replaceable graphics cards. They are normally built into the Motherboard, and cannot be replaced unless you replace the whole thing. Only a few laptops have actual separate GPUs, but most of them are really expensive, and if you don't know you have one, then you probably do not. Just in case, post your manufacturer and model number, I will look up if you can replace your GPU.

I would like to upgrade my graphics card in my laptop, but I don't know if mine can be changed (probably not). I have the Dell Inspiron e 1505, can you take a look and see if it can be done? I doubt it can, but it would be nice to know. Thanks.
