Idea For Blocking Bots - PSP-Forum.com

At least a little bit. You could make it so nobody new can post new threads until they have 20 or whatever number of posts. This would cut down on all the bot threads.

It's just an idea I had. I hope it helps you guys out.

A good idea that unfortunately can't be implemented. The feature does not exist on this version of phpbb. Plus they will be able to add the spam to the end of a thread anyway.

Not to mention a lot of members just join for one quick question. I would rather they start their own thread instead of cluttering someone else's.

I think I cleaned it up. :?
I just realized that I'm really the only active staff member during the US day time. Don't get me wrong, the other US mods do visit the site, but not as much as they used to. :cry:

And they don't just post once or twice, they hit like all the sections, they're getting pretty agressive.

If he did, we could implement the pictures security, where you have to type in the code in the picture. I wonder how forums like QJ don't have much spam? They either don't have much spam, or I'm not on there enough to notice or they delete it fast or something...
