I thought that I just had a bad copy of the firmware because constantine was saying that sometimes you'll get a bad copy and new things won't appear, like Skype, and maybe GoMessenger.

Yeah, DAX's wireless fw updater didn't have Skype on there, I had to do it the old fashioned way. However, if you go into the recovery menu and fake region to Europe it should have Go! Messenger on there.

Alright, my PSP's kinda in parts ATM because I was fixing my friend's PSP and testing some my analogue stick on his, and I just kinda have it put back together but not screwed in I think... However, I'll add you once I feel like putting mine back together.

I have it all back together now, I didn't go past the screen as I only needed to test some analogue sticks.

Even if I did take it all the way apart, I'm confident that I could have put it all back together, I've got a clear shell on mine that I put in by myself.
