No problem, just had a 2 week blitz on overclocking. a bit like i did with the PSP CFW, Ask kev, totally baffled when i got here man (If he remembers)
The thermalright ultra (or simply the TRU to afficionados) is among one of the best Heatsinks in the world, my idle temps are around 25 - 30 and thats on an OC man. im yet to blast it into prime95 tests, theres no point (but itll probly be about 40- 42, ive not seated the **** off heatsink correctly), i could theoretically (and dangerously) hit 3.8 - 4ghz on an air cooled system, but id be pushing 55 - 65 easily even with extra precaution. No point with my motherboard, it was designed mainly for OCing C2D's. I found only one know known config for Oc a Q6600 on this mobo, and it was 3 ghz- take it or leave it.
i'm just waiting to see if Nvidia has an answer to the intel x38 chipset before i blow 150 on a board
I went for looks over cooling, but bought 4 Beastly Silent 120 mm fans for it.
The most popular selling case in the world right now is the Antec 900, because of its cooling. NZXT's answer to this is the Tempest. but you wont find that on sale anywhere yet. Either of those will have freezer conditions for any setup.
I just wanted to be a rebel, not a friggin' sheep!
