I don't even check the latest 10 posts, I just look through the topics I feel like looking at, than when I get bored, accidentally click on the mark all forums read button.
I do however look in all the topics before I "accidentally" click to button to make sure there's no spam.
This thread does get updated with pointless things a lot though...
