The 360 works in both the upright and horizontal positions... although the manufacturers state that they work fine...
I have found that my disks were getting scratched when the 360 was upright but no scratches when layed down... BUT the machine runs hotter kayed down (lack of air circulation I guess). Have now purchased a intercooler with seperate powersupply... man what a difference. The 360 is so much cooler.
