No no ,your wrong, I'm actually not talking out of my ass. There are enough games out on the PS3 that are above average to hold any gamer down. Plus the outstanding games it has too, games such as Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, COD4, Ratchet and Clank, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Warhawk, Oblivion, Unreal Tournament 3, I could go on, but I think I've made my point across. Even if you could buy all these games and more, there is no way in hell you would be regreting the purchase, this also goes for an Xbox 360. Hell you sound like a PS2 gamer that's angry because he wont bring himself to buy a next generation console, or can't afford one despite there incredibly low costs. The only system with an arguably mediocre game line up is the Wii, and that console does have some shiners that stand out.

So, going with your logic, I'd rather my old, outed computer instead of the new one I'm building, simply because I own it and not the newer computer I'm going to buy? Why limit yourself of the awesome games both the PS3 and 360 has available? Not me, I only want the best.

That is completely up to the comsumer. If you don't own an HDTV, don't assume the rest of the world is in the same situation you are in. In my opinion, if you own an HDTV you should defenetely have a Blu-ray player and not buy DVD's again. Or at
least have a Ti-Vo to record some type of high definition video.
