the livebox is a WiFi router from the UK cell phone network Orange. It aint good!

I had to set up my brothers for his normal PC needs and I eventually broke out a WiFi packet sniffer to see what was going on! The Livebox didn't maintain an active session for any time at all.

Having had the PSP for a few weeks now, i wouldn't really rate the Wireless performance that highly either. Sure it does what it needs to but its the regular connection and IP address acquisition process it seems to do. I don't understand why it wouldn't stay connected.

I would imagine that having both of these systems trying to sync up is a lot to ask for and removing security would probably help but not be a complete solution.

I use a Netgear DG834G router and have never had any problems with all the WiFi things like a mates Mac and Windows Mobile phone i use too.
