Well, yeah you could because that gives you access to the router and its settings, and then enable the security on it.
Here is a little tutorial for you...
PIC #1:
- Run the command prompt on your PC (on vista it is found in accessories folder)
- type ipconfig and PIC #1 will appear
- Copy down the Default gateway address
PIC #2:
- Open internet explorer / firefox and type in the default gateway address as like the pic.
- the screen will appear like the pic (it may look different between each router.
- My username is admin and password is password
You will then be greeted by a menu thats pretty self explanitory, just go to wireless settings or something similar and look for security.
