Upgrading:- Download the needed firmware above and save it to your computer.
- Extract the contents of the .rar folder using Winrar. Do this by right clicking the downloaded folder and click "Extract here".
- A new file will be on available, which will most likely be called ????_EBBOT.PBP, if so then rename it to EBOOT.PBP
- Connect your psp to the PC and enter USB mode, this is found in Settings > USB Mode.
- Creat an UPDATE folder inside the GAME folder, so its would be PSP > GAME > UPDATE > EBOOT.PBP...
- Place the EBOOT.PBP file inside the UPDATE folder and exit USB mode.
- Ensure your PSP is plugged into the AC adapter and go to the game menu.
- Launch the relevent update and follow the on screen instructions.
- You may need to re-enter the time and date etc etc. Just go through the settings and confirm.
You now have an upgraded psp. Look at the above index on how to downgrade if this was your reason for upgrading.
