That'll be a bitch. Mines a packard bell, three years old too. After using a scanner and looking up my mobo it should have been able to take a gig in each ram slot, but it could only handle 512. IDK what PB had done to it, they were also cheap and removed two of the ram modules, since it only needed the 2 when i bought it. It also wouldnt let me upgrade the graphics card. So Im building a new one.
