Got this game two days ago..... finished it after two sittings!!! :evil:

Ok the graphics are great... the whole look of the game is good the detail is fantastic... but thats the problem... for a paint sprayed walled city it was VERY clean... no garbage, no tufts of grass etc... it was clinically clean in the streets.
It is played over a very small set of streets and dock area.... you soon get used to the streets and the few ally ways. perhaps being used to Crackdown has ruined me for 'sandbox' play.

The AI is dreadful... these guys are dumb as dumb can be.... the story line is ok but things happen (major ****) with little or no real explanation :shock: some levels are surreal to say the least and although they sort of fit into the plot/story still leave you wondering why.

The control system is fine and the limited selection of weaponary is ideal... the exercutions that you can perform are unreal (auto though)... these and the Darklings (read funny gimps that assist you) are what makes the game ok and not 'KEEP AWAY FROM'.

The Darklings are very funny and listening to their little one liners and antics is hilarious... they atr times 'abuse' the corpses of your enemies... they p1ss on them and I am sure I saw one hump one too.... they verbally abuse them and.... well just watching them is great.
A few tv's are about the place and you can sit down and watch them,... you select kung fu movies, sci-fi, movies, cartoons and mucic channels... these are full cartoons and tv shows.

As you move around the game you pass to and from the area's of the map and you must watch a loading sequence... some are relavent and others are just fillers while the section of map is loaded.... trust me they become tedius very QUICKLY.

Oh almost forgot ONLINE game is so Laggy it is unplayable at times.... just simple maze type maps where you run about morphing into a Darkling and a human at will and just pick-up weapons and kill opponents.

Bottom line don't pay full price for this game... my local EB Games had new tittles with $20 off so that was cool. Wait until it appears in a bargain bucket somewhere before you buy.

Disappointed in the game.
