This is probably a really dumb question, but in the game menu, what is the Game Data Utility? It's seperate from the Save Data Utitlity.

Is this just a place for games to store info so they can do patches and have faster loading times and such?

Also, why do some games not have it? When I first fired up Virtua Fighter 5 it created a file, but not Motorstorm. :? Yet, later when I downloaded a patch for Motorstorm, it created a file under Game Data Utility, and that's what led me to believe what I said about patches and such.

Another wierd thing is, why do they have it visible if you can't do anything to it besides delete the files or view info?
