They are both great, which is why it was such a hard decision for me. I love, absolutely love, the XMB, but I love Halo too much. Even now my PSP is modded with Halo things.
I also think the dashboard is extremely intuitive, and less bland than the XMB on a large television. You can't even set your own pics on the PS3 yet.
