(This will be the thread for all of the next-gen debates/discussions. I'm sure that people are tired of 4 threads about the same thing.)

My opinion:

I'm afraid this time around, it will be the same thing, only the roles will be reversed.

Instead of the Sony system coming out early, it will be the Microsoft system, and instead of the Microsoft system having more processing power, it will be Sony's.

So, now, we have a bit of a problem. People who don't want to wait for the Sony next-gen train to arrive will jump on the Microsoft band-wagon, but the die-hard Sony fans will have to wait for the PS3 psocessing power goliath, and some rich people who can afford both will also buy it.

Since they're all including internet this time, it's not really a deciding factor.

So, this time around, it's all about the games. Which company has the better games coming out? Although Sony's got some aces up their sleeve, Microsoft has signed on Namco AND Square Enix. So, they will both have strong action games, like Killzone and Halo 3, and great RPGs, like Final Fantasy and (whatever Sony still has... ^-^;
