I suggest you think about that and the chronology involved here. I am willing to put a large sum of money on the 360's price being reduced as well as additional features being added just before the PS3 is released. Everything you talk about there will be included in the package at half the price of the PS3. You talk as if the PS3 is out now - remember there is another six months to go and that is assuming it ships on time. And not only that, a worldwide release will mean drastic unit shortage - if you thought getting hold of a 360 was difficult at the backend of last year, times that by ten and you will have the PS3 scenario in November/December this year. Plus Microsoft will have ironed out any little issues by then which all new hardware has so the 360 will be a very reliable, cheap console in comparison.
The difference between the two consoles just isn't big enough for the price difference that will be there. Numerous develepors have already indicated the visual difference between games that are being developed for the two systems will be zero so I really can't see the point in paying the extra money. Plus there are very few exclusives for either system any more.
I think the serious lack of impact the PS3 seems to have had at E3 is an indication of what is to come and I suspect Sony know it.
