Is this thing any good?
Psp is superb

Quote:
What is its range?
depends on what router you buy but the psp will reach anywhere around your house, and most probably garden(based on presuming you dont live in a 20 bedroom mansion)

I am thinking about buying it and a psp (I don't have a psp)
I heard that the psp isn't any good for viewing ebay. Is that true?
Ebay cant be viewed because it is way too large, although your "my ebay page can be accessed if you save it as a bookmark

Quote:
Would it be able to display most webpages?
yes, the psp can hold alot of memory, but a website that consists of millions of pages i.e. ebay is a bit too much for it to handle

Quote:
How would you type on it?
its like a mobile phone keypad thats on the screen and you use the directional buttons to select which button to push, then you press it how many times depending on what letter you wanted.

Would it be possible to download little video clips like the ones from break.com and watch them on the psp ?
You will need to download from computer convert to psp size using psp video 9 then transfer to psp via USB.

Alternatively you could find a site with RSS streaming that has videos. but the sound tends to go out of sync with the video.

RSS is a list of songs / videos that a person has put on their website for people to listen/watch. Like the HMV website on a PC where you can click each song and it starts playing some of it as a demo, so its that on psp.
