You may be able to get 4gb cards for the PSP, but that does not mean that it will definately support it.
For example, in your PC/Lapop it can only support a certain amount of memory as the physical limitations of the address bus (limits how many locations are avaliable in memory) and the data bus (how much each location can store) are actually etched onto your mortherboard and cannot be changed. I know that this is not the same technology that is used by the memory sticks, but I am sure it is a similar sort of method.
As I said before, I am sure that the maximum capacity is 1gb, but PLEASE prove me wrong by getting one to work.
