It's worth the money, but I would like the volume to be higher on the PSP. I listened to the same MP3 on the my PSP and on my wife's IPOD and it's much louder on the IPOD. Well, I guess that it's designed for music. The bass isn't the best but the clarity is out of this world. I also have the Sony Nude earphones I use as a back-up. It's also very nice at a much cheaper price, but not anywhere as clear.
I will say that the Sony headphones are easier to put into your ear because if the option of a smaller bud. The sony comes with 3 different sized earbuds and the Shure comes with a bunch of them. The foam ones fit me the best. It works the best because you really get a seal in your ear, but it's not just so easy as to pop it into your ear. You have to sort of roll it up between your fingers and let it expand in your ear. It takes about 30 secs to have it set in.
