I have the PSP plugged into a wall outlet via the adapter. I have left the thing on now for several hours and it received no charge whatsoever. The PSP is fresh out of the box too and I didn't tamper with the battery or anything.

Under the battery information window in the PSP it says:

Charge Level -
Hours Left -
Power Source External
Battery Status -

Umm, correct me if I'm wrong but doesnt the PSP charge WHILE you are using it while plugged in? It is like my battery is asleep! ::looks at - in status::

Does the PSP need to be in sleep mode or turned off for it to charge or what?
