Default PSP compared to a computer!?

here are the psp specs [i copy pasted ehandler's post because im lazy ]
Sony PSP
Communications Type IEEE802.11b
Main Controls D Button/4 button key pad/Left & Right/Analog Stick/Start Select
Processor Speed 333 Mhz
Battery Run Time 5.5 Hours
Graphic Card Memory 2MB EDRAM
Max Resolution 480X272
Colors 16.77 Million Colors
Main Memory 32MB
Pixels Fill Rate 664 Million Pixels
Screen Size 4X3 Inch 16:9

now what i doent understand is that these specs are comparable to like a pentium II computer which is sad! now i know that the psp is clearly more technilogically advanced then a p II pc but why? if the specs are the same what makes the diffrence?

this is a question ive had for a long time..anyone?
