I Have both systems but you can't put them aside each other there just so different. I agree with other members that the WII appears a better buy, brilliant console may I add!!! But it's just not portable. The psp is a handheld device that's perfect for traveling about wiv. Just be careful you don't drop it lol!!
WII is really for groups of people to play I think. Play it alot with my family. Its down to choice I'm afraid - U pay yr money u make yr choice!!:evil
