I understand your comments VAMP, but im afraid i still disagree.

See when i say value for money i take into account of what i NEED in the console.

We must remember here that psplayer is asking for our opinions and so that is going to be based on what we are looking for in a console, how hardcore a gamer we are and our own taste in games.

As to your comments about the hard drive etc... for my uses (save data, updates and the odd demo) the 360 hard drive is big enough. 2 usb ports. I have only ever needed one for my plug and play charger, what other uses are they for (that i would find useful). I have already stated that the extra £40 a year for LIVE must be taken into account so that i was already aware of. As for WiFi and Bluray, i can see your point and to some respect agree. The network adapter is stupidly overpriced, however again this is not an issue for me as i dont use one. Bluray, this has been discussed many times. They will always fit games onto DVD i have no doubt, but i must say that bluray seems a very good potential medium to take over. This is a huge advantage for PS3, however is that worth the additional price.

All in all, i am taking into account psplayers needs and financial situation. He has commented on getting an Elite, so 120gig hard drive is better than the ps3, however i have said that HDD space is not really an advantage in my view. Also, as a working man you may value money less than psplayer, and extra £100 may not seem too much to you, however for someone who may take 6months to get that sort of money, they appreciate it more.

Anyways, im going to stop ranting now as i dont think im making too much sense.

Beserk, this wont turn into a console war argument, i am confident that members here are mature enough to accept pitfalls in both systems and accept other opinions. Plus this was asked of us so it wasnt brought on intentially to create friction between members.
