As always the question should be what is it that you want todo with your machine??? depending on that answer and then the kit you have will answer your question for you.

I run XP on my home pc and on my laptop... but at work I run Vista on network covering numerous remote sites with connections direct to 'sensitive' customers etc... no problem with it or it connecting to existing kit (including some old laserjet 6 printers).

Both OS seem fine to me and work just perfect.... Vista seems to have more bells and whistles and I must admit to liking that.

Nearly every Os that is released has it's problems and Vista is no exception... HELL DOS 3.1 was a nightmare.... too old for most of you guys to remember... a computer system that was designed BEFORE we had mice.... obviously I am too old to remember then days (yeah I wish)... we also had Winchester drives and 8" floppies etc.... those were the days.... think my vacum cleaner has more computing power than the IBM machine I used to use hahahahahaha
